About me
Hi, I’m Catriona Shaw, a copywriter, proofreader and copy editor with more than 10 years’ experience working with words.
I studied English at the University of Southampton, before landing my first real job at an independent publishing house in Brighton. I spent the next five years editing manuscripts, falling in love with InDesign and honing an eye for detail that can spot a double space on a restaurant menu before you can say aperitif.
But after years of working with manuscripts, it was time to find my own voice. I started writing full time in 2013, and haven’t looked back since.
